Managing insomnia and sleep issues

Sleep is essential for our health and wellbeing, yet it is estimated that 40% of the population suffer with sleep issues This Wellbeing Wednesday we focused on insomnia and sleep issues and what you can do achieve a good night’s sleep.

Our host, Huw Jones from BAM Nuttall, spoke to Joseph Pannell, a Sleep Coach from The Sleep Charity. Joseph discussed why sleep is important, relaxation techniques that work, what cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBTI) is, and how to regulate your sleep, with specific tips and advice for shift workers.
